                                      27th ANNUAL REVIEW MEETING (ARM) OF THE HEALTH SECTOR

The Ministry of Health (MOH) organizes the health sector's Annual Review Meeting (ARM) following the end of every Fiscal year. The event brings stakeholders together to share their best experiences, celebrate successes, chart the sector’s future course, and set priorities. Accordingly, preparations to hold the 27th ARM are underway.

The Strategic Affairs Executive Office (SAEO) of MOH publishes a yearly special bulletin of research, best practices, and new initiative articles to present evidence on the health sector's salient successes and challenges over the fiscal year and beyond. Accordingly, the editorial board of the special bulletin for the 27th ARM invites researchers, implementers, academicians, program people, and policymakers to submit articles on the areas mentioned above. 

Two of the three years of the Health Sector Medium-term Development and Investment Plan (HSDIP) period has already and preparation are underway to the final year. Hence, articles related to best practices, success stories and other aspects of the below HSDIP's goals, objectives, and key results are expected be disseminated to ARM audiences and beyond.

  • Universal Health Coverage
  • Maternal, child, and adolescent health and nutrition
  • Disease prevention and control: HIV and viral hepatitis, Tuberculosis and Leprosy, Malaria, Neglected Tropical Diseases, Non-communicable diseases and Mental health
  • Community Ownership and Primary Health Care
  • Quality and equitable medical health services
  • Public health emergency and disaster risk management, and post-conflict recovery and rehabilitation
  • Health System Capacity and Regulation (Leadership and governance, human resource, health infrastructure, Health Information and Research, Digital Health and Regulatory System)
  • Innovation for Health system quality, Equity and safety
  • Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Management and Production
  • Health Financing and Private Sector Engagement

How to submit articles

Among the selected articles for publication in the Special Bulletin, author (s) might be requested to present their work during the ARM.
