Mrs. Eden Workneh has bachelors degree in public health, Masters degree in general public health and Masters degree in sociology. She started her career by working in Health center of rural part of SNNP region as a clinical staff/ head of a health center and extended her service in different government and private health Science Colleges as a lecturer. Besides, she served as child (ICCM/CBNC) and maternal health programs zonal and regional coordinator in non-governmental organization (JSI/L10K) for eight years. After joining MOH, she served as an exam development team leader and an assistant director in Health Professionals Competency Assessment and Licensure Directorate and now she is serving as Director of health and health related institutions regulatory directorate director.
Thirteen plus year of experience in public health with special focus maternal, child health, health professional’s competency and regulatory programs has given her the chance to learn more on program areas, health work force and institution development programming.
