The Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH), in partnership with partners, has conducted a cataract removal campaign and rehabilitation of ophthalmological services at health facilities in war-affected areas of Amhara and Afar regional states.

 Minister of Health Dr.Liya Tadesse has presided over the launch of various facilities intended to enhance delivery of improved medical services at the Queen Eleni Mohamed Memorial Comprehensive Specialized Hospital of Wachamo University. 

Public Relations and Communication Director, Dr. Tegene Regassa, who released a press statement about the 2nd round Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign, announced that the second round Vaccination campaign has been launched nationwide since February 14, 2022; and including the 14 million people who received vaccination through this round, more than 20 million people have been so far vaccinated in the country.
